Booked.
Currently in the initial research phase, Booked. is an app designed to make booking talent more efficient for show producers. Having performed stand-up comedy and produced stand-up comedy shows for over four years, I’ve picked up on a few pain points happening backstage. Booked. intends to find a solution to some of those pain points through design.
Assumptions
Based on what I’ve seen on both the producer side and the performer side, it seems to me that it is challenging for many to stay organized when we work via various social media platforms.
It’s hard for producers to track performers down on social media and stay up to date with performer’s information like headshots, credits, and bios.
The information performers get from producers isn’t always inconsistent when they’re being booked.
